Earthly has a friendly and sophisticated packaging system, but they wanted to improve the illustrated elements.
From the sketches phase, we narrowed in on a line art style with friendly dog designs.
This style was then refined to have cleaner lines with a slight taper, prominent loops, thoughtful breaks and filled areas to add dimension.

We created a family of dogs based on this refined style, emphasizing the fun and quirky qualities of each breed.

These dogs won’t stay still, but that’s okay because they’re also well trained.
cool cat
Earthly also has offerings for cats, so a cute kitty was added to the family.

Instructions for inserting a pill into Pill Buddy treats.

The art style for the dogs was expanded to the identifiers for the various proteins and flavors of the treats, including Chicken, Beef, Duck, Pork and Walleye.

Icons are used on the packaging to highlight benefits, ingredients or production details.
